Sophia Levin

Sophia is a Chicago-based tutor who grew up in Boston and recently completed a master’s in mechanical engineering after finishing a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University. Sophia has always enjoyed teaching and sharing her interests with others. She has been tutoring since 2018, while also sharing her love of sports and exercise through coaching various Special Olympics sports and leading group exercise classes. She has tutored primarily in STEM subjects, but also has experience tutoring Spanish and SAT prep. Sophia now works with cardiac ablation technology as a field engineer and is excited to be able to continue her own learning while also supporting younger students’ educational and extracurricular growth. In her free time, Sophia can be found playing tennis, doing a puzzle with her roommates, or petting dogs on the street.
