Sophia Levin

Sophia is a Chicago-based tutor who grew up in Boston and is now a fifth-year student at Northwestern University, completing her master’s in mechanical engineering after finishing a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering. Sophia has always enjoyed teaching and sharing her interests with others. She has been tutoring for four years, coaching tennis and various Special Olympics sports, and leading group exercise classes. She has tutored primarily in STEM subjects, but also has experience tutoring Spanish and SAT prep. Sophia is excited to be able to continue her own learning at school while also supporting younger students’ educational and extracurricular growth through tutoring and coaching. While she is not in class or working, Sophia can be found playing tennis, doing a puzzle with her roommates, or petting dogs on the street.
