Solomon Bergquist
Solomon is a recent graduate of Princeton University with experience working with students across diverse subjects. With interests spanning history, Classics, language, and logic, Solomon is passionate about creating learning environments where curiosity and critical thinking are encouraged. Having often found traditional classroom settings challenging, they emphasize personalized instruction that centers on the student’s own ways of thinking, fostering understanding rather than rote memorization. They have pursued these goals through founding Summer’s Lease, a summer camp where students explore Shakespeare’s works through discussion, study, and performance, as well as through their work at Hawthorne Valley School. In their free time, Solomon enjoys performing—from acting on the stage to juggling on the streets.
