Natalie Garrett
With a true passion for education and teaching, Natalie is currently studying for her second master’s degree in middle grades math education from DePaul University while also student teaching full time in a 6th grade math classroom. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Ohio State in 2020 and her first master’s degree from Notre Dame in 2022. Natalie is patient with her students and has tutored children as young as three years old and as old as her fellow master’s students at Notre Dame in subjects such as statistics and economics. While math holds a special place in Natalie’s heart, she also loves working in other subjects, including language arts and Spanish. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Natalie is quickly learning to love Chicago (even the cold!). When she’s not busy writing papers or teaching, Natalie enjoys kickboxing, finding new coffee shops to enjoy a nice cup of decaf, and cheering her students on at their weekly basketball games.
