Lynne Stanko

Lynne graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in television with a focus in writing & producing. From there, she moved to LA, where she spent nearly five years working at different television companies, including DreamWorks and NBC. While in LA, Lynne founded a nonprofit that combined her passions for improvisational comedy and social emotional learning in order to assist young girls with their confidence and social skills. In 2016, she moved home to Chicago where she could continue her improv studies at The Second City and focus on her nonprofit. In 2018, Lynne moved full time into the classroom, teaching drama and English at a charter high school. She is currently teaching AP English Language & Composition and American Literature. Her favorite part of working with students is helping them find and craft their individual voices. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys playing on a trivia team and improvising.
