Greta Karisny

Greta is a current MSW student focusing on school social work at the University of Chicago. Their experiences as a paraprofessional, tutor, social worker, and language assistant have shaped their teaching approach to ensure all students receive individualized support that encourages their learning styles. Working under the assumption that students learn best when they feel safe, Greta works to ensure students feel comfortable and supported first and foremost. In their free time, Greta plays roller derby, goes camping, and swims in the lake with friends.
