Esther O’Leary

Esther earned their bachelor’s degree in secondary English education from UIC. They plan to spend some time tutoring before launching into their teaching career. They have done a range of mentorship work, particularly with high school students and the adjustment to a high school workload. Esther is passionate about helping students enjoy learning—having worked with a variety of students, they understand how important it is not only to excel in studies, but to engage with them. They are committed to making tutoring a collaborative experience in which students feel connected to the material. In their free time, Esther enjoys making music, reading, writing, and crafting!
