Connor Plunkett

Connor holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in anthropology from the University of Chicago. He has a diverse academic background and is eager to teach a wide array of subjects. He has taught students of all ages, from kindergarten to college underclassmen, and is able to communicate complex concepts at a level best suited to each age and each student. He meets students where they are, taking the time to get to know their academic strengths, distinct perspectives, and preferred learning styles. His life was transformed by dedicated teachers who helped him foster a life-long love of learning, and it’s his goal to share his passion for learning with his students.

Outside of teaching, he is a musician and audio engineer, currently working as a live performer with a local singer-songwriter and recording for indie rock bands. He loves to read unusual fiction, thought-provoking social science, and philosophy classics. He is also an avid home cook who makes a fiery jambalaya.
