Clara Trippe

Clara is a professional writer and educator who holds a Masters in Fine Arts in Poetry from the University of Oregon. As a graduate student, she taught six university terms at the University of Oregon as an Introduction to Composition and Introduction to Poetry instructor. Since 2020, she has tutored students in writing and the humanities, specializing in college applications and essays. Clara is driven to foster confidence and creativity in every student, based in the belief that these are the building blocks of academic success in every discipline. With a background in non-profit grant writing to support arts education initiatives in Chicago Public Schools, she brings writing expertise across creative and academic genres as well as a focus on critical thinking strategies that support students’ holistic education goals. Outside of teaching, Clara enjoys collaging and crafting.
