
Ben Cook
Ben earned his BA cum laude in sociology with a minor in French from Northeastern Illinois University in 2013 and completed an MS in infectious disease and immunology research at Loyola University in 2018. He is currently working towards a PhD in biomedical research at University of Illinois at Chicago. Ben’s medical experience includes working as an EMT-B, a health information technician, and a field medical service technician for the US Marine Corps. Before returning to full time education, Ben honed his ability to improve patients’ cognitive and executive functioning skills as a case manager and treatment team leader in brain injury rehabilitation. He looks forward to tutoring EE students in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, physics, chemistry, biology, genetics, sociology, and French.
