Andre Scherding

Andre earned a bachelor’s in PR and advertising with a minor in photography from DePaul University in the class of 2021. He is currently pursuing a career in photography. In addition to his creative endeavors, Andre has always had a passion for education. His previous role at Chicago based non-profit Latitude, allowed him to impart his photographic knowledge to artists and creators across Chicago.

Andre believes connections with mentors are crucial for students navigating an increasingly stimulating social landscape. He is keen to ignite curiosity in students and provide the kind of mentoring he has benefited from on his own journey. If Andre isn’t standing behind a camera watching the light shift, he spends his free time skiing or dancing, and he jumps at the chance to travel whenever possible.
