Amanda Sorice

Amanda is a teacher with 10+ years experience teaching diverse students, ages, subjects, and skills. She graduated from DePaul University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary history education and again in 2019 with a master’s degree in literacy and specialized instruction (reading specialist). Currently, she is earning her master’s in educational leadership from the University of Notre Dame. Amanda started teaching 7th grade history and English and now teaches various social science courses to high school students, such as AP US History, Psychology, and Criminal Justice. She is passionate about making sure each student receives equitable, high-quality, and personalized instruction to meet their needs. In addition to teaching, Amanda is also the division lead of the Social Science and World Language departments at her school.
