Allie Vanneman

Allie graduated from the University of Iowa in 2021 with a BA in elementary education. She holds an Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsements in elementary education (grades 1-6), reading teacher (preK-12), and early childhood education (birth-grade 2), and is working towards an ESL endorsement. Allie has worked as a general education teacher in various elementary grade levels in Chicago. Her experience includes planning and delivering engaging lessons across multiple subjects, utilizing data to inform instruction, and implementing social-emotional learning strategies. Allie is passionate about fostering a strong culture of care and supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth. In her free time, Allie enjoys reading, taking walks along the lakefront, and FaceTiming her nieces and nephews!
