Ace Zhang

Ace graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s in clinical psychology and minors in social work and sociology. He is currently attending the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in pursuit of a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. Ace has worked with students of all ages as a private tutor and peer mentor both online and in person, with his most recent tutoring experience being with young adults working toward their GED at the Restorative Justice Community Court of Avondale. Additionally, he worked as a school counselor intern at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, where he combined his passion for helping students grow their executive functioning and self-sufficiency skills with humor and empathy. His specialties include helping students develop reading comprehension, critical thinking, study skills, and self-confidence.

In his free time, Ace is an artist of many mediums, including digital art, watercolors, crochet, and digital music production. He also runs multiple Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for his friends and has amassed a sizable dice collection.
