Joanna Korpanty

Joanna attended Wesleyan University, where she earned her BA with high honors in chemistry and mathematics in 2018. She then attended Northwestern University and earned a PhD in chemistry in 2022. Now, she works at Living Proof to make new types of hair care products. Throughout her academic career, Joanna served as a teaching assistant for both organic chemistry lecture and lab courses. She also previously tutored local middle school and elementary school students in math and worked as a teaching assistant for an introductory physics course. Outside of science, Joanna enjoys playing with her cats and testing how much coffee she can drink without exploding.
