Elizabeth Darovic

Elizabeth has over 30 years of experience teaching sociology, psychology and history at the high school level and English from 8th grade through graduate level. She is formally trained to teach AP Literature and AP Language, and 2026 marked her 15th year as an AP Lit exam reader. She also has years of experience working with neurodivergent students.

Elizabeth holds an M.A. in English Literature from the University of London and an M.Ed. in Secondary English Education from De Paul University. She completed her bachelor’s in English, with minors in French and psychology, at Loyola University of Chicago. She has worked as a freelance writer and editor for several academic publishers, does freelance technical writing, and likes rock climbing.
