Lauren graduated from Marquette University in 2011 with a degree in secondary education, history and psychology. She then moved to Washington, DC and taught special education while earning her master’s degree from George Mason University. After three years in DC, Lauren decided to come to Chicago where she has continued working in special education at a high school near UIC. Now in her 6th year of teaching, Lauren can’t think of a better career. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, working out, and exploring Chicago’s many restaurants.
