Kirk has 16 years of teaching and school leadership experience, including 15 years as a high school history and social studies instructor at the Latin School of Chicago. Kirk also served as Director of Studies and Upper School Division Director during his time at Latin. Eager to return to the classroom following recent work as an administrator, Kirk now serves as a 7th and 8th grade language arts teacher at Baker Demonstration School in Wilmette. Kirk received his B.A. in political science and economics from Kenyon College and his M.A. in political science from the University of Chicago. While a grad student at U of C, Kirk taught undergraduates for three years in addition to working for Educational Endeavors in its early days from 2004-6.
