Joyce Ohiri
Joyce is currently a graduate student in genetics at Northwestern University and has a passion for science, technology and education. As an East Coast native and Midwest transplant, Joyce has mentored and tutored K-12 students in Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, and Chicago, IL. She also enjoys performing scientific experiments with young students and guiding graduate students through scientific principles and lab techniques to improve their graduate school training. Joyce advocates for students by promoting personalized, interactive and hands-on educational experiences. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, running, art & style, and learning new cultures through travel and language.
