Hanna graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago in 2018. She holds a BA with Honors in English language and literature with a concentration in creative nonfiction writing. Hanna tutors a variety of subjects including high school level math, science, history, French, and college level English and writing. She also helps students with ACT, SAT, CPS Selective Enrollment, and ISEE/SSAT test prep as well as executive functioning skills. She is committed to helping students feel comfortable and confident enough to take ownership of their work. Outside of tutoring Hanna works as a playwright and dramaturg across theatres in Chicago, primarily with First Floor Theater, where she serves as literary manager. She’s written plays about subjects ranging from conspiracy theorists to Canadian pop-punk superstar Avril Lavigne. Her play The Targeted was selected as a finalist in the 2020 National Playwrights Conference.
