George Mathen

George Mathen

George Mathen is currently pursuing his MD degree at Loma Linda School of Medicine. He previously graduated from Westmont College on a full-tuition scholarship with a kinesiology major and a chemistry minor. When he’s not studying medicine, he loves to spend his time playing competitive volleyball and being with his friends. His hope for his students is that 1) they develop a wonder and joy for learning, 2) they realize they have the potential to be wildly successful, and 3) they will develop the skills to identify the common concepts in anything they learn, know how to extrapolate them, and apply them to novel situations.
