Originally from St. Louis, Emily holds various advanced degrees in classics and has over six years of teaching and tutoring experience in myriad disciplines at the university level. One of her primary pedagogical concerns is that students from diverse
backgrounds have access to advanced education; to that end, she especially welcomes opportunities to work with scholarship students and low-income families. Emily possesses competencies in a variety of fields and enjoys finding innovative pathways
for students to master challenging material and grasp complex ideas. Subjects: Ancient Greek; Latin; history; English literature, grammar, and writing; ACT/SAT/GRE preparation, executive functioning, etc.
