Dia Bennett

Dia holds a BA in African Studies from Howard University, a MA in African American Studies from Georgia State University, and a MA in Teaching Middle School English/Language Arts from National Louis University. Dia is a Chicago native with several years of teaching experience under her belt. She has experience teaching in the private, charter, and public sectors, but is currently a full time ELA teacher with Chicago Public Schools. Dia enjoys spending time with family, reading an informative non-fiction text, and playing competitive flag football (the past 11 years all around the country). She believes that ALL children deserve access to a high-quality education by any means necessary!
