Clara graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BS in neuroscience and later earned an MS in biotechnology at Rush University. Her research focused on the reformatting of high school science curricula and assessments to promote problem solving and critical thinking skills. Clara is now a medical student at UIC. She is passionate about teaching and education — both systemically and on a personal level — and has served as a tutor, mentor and advisor for a variety of volunteer organizations. She enjoys tutoring both STEM and humanities subjects as well as test prep. Clara hopes to pass along the tools and knowledge she has obtained to help students move through their education with ease and great success.
