Allison Ettlinger Haber has been in the classroom for 10 years, primarily teaching middle school and high school English, reading, and writing. After growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Allison attended Penn State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary English education with a minor in literature and a middle school math education endorsement. She moved to Arizona where she taught middle school language arts and won a teaching award granting her a full scholarship to Grand Canyon University. There, she obtained her master’s degree in educational administration. Since 2016, Allison has been teaching high school English at a Chicago college preparatory charter school, working primarily in a mixed freshman classroom including general education students and those with special education needs. She is a Golden Apple nominee and eager to educate scholars of all ages through tutoring!
