
Alex Denley
Alex Denley is a Ph.D. student in the University of Illinois Chicago’s philosophy department. Alex’s higher education began at Clark University, from which they graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in philosophy and a minor in creative writing. After graduating from Clark, Alex accepted an offer to pursue a Ph.D. in philosophy at UIC and has thus far earned an M.A. Alex has taught as both a teaching assistant and a primary instructor and greatly enjoys working with students one-on-one during office hours. They strongly believe that the mark of a good student-teacher relationship is that the teacher cares deeply about students and their growth. During tutoring sessions, Alex strives to build skills and confidence as students learn strategies for success in addition to curriculum content
