Customized for schools, organizations, and municipal agencies, our Academic Enrichment Programs (AEP’s) curriculum, aligned with Illinois State Standards (ISBE), can be delivered as summer “camps,” after-school programs, and intensive workshops and retreats. Two guiding questions drive our Academic Enrichment Programs: How does one MAKE it? And, how does one develop the skills to positively affect themselves, their peers, their family, and the community at large?
Components include: experiential education, work-based learning opportunities, civic engagement, critical and financial literacy, goal setting, reflection, analysis, problem solving, influencing and motivating others, and much more. All programs use pre- and post-tests to evaluate student and program success. All of our Chicago afterschool programs can include parent workshops and can be used as a model for professional development for your staff.
